For the fifth consecutive year, Teatro La Scala’s company moved to Japan for a wide tour of concerts.
The debut of Aida finished with a twenty minutes applause and a banner showing a big “100”, as the number of performances made in the Land of the Rising Sun.
The tour, that registered the sold out, has been closed playing the "Don Carlo". The performance was attended by the Italian Republic’s President, Giorgio Napolitano.
The whole company stayed in Shinigawa district, right where is located one of the numerous Segafredo Zanetti Espresso cafés in Tokyo.
Every morning, during the tour, La Scala’s actors have tasted the Segafredo Zanetti espresso, finding a bit of Italy in the Land of the Rising Sun.
