Segafredo Zanetti Espresso is glad to announce the opening of the first café in franchising in Rabat, capital of Morocco.
Rabat is one of the four imperial cities of Morocco and the national capital since 1912.
Since being named capital by the French in 1912, Rabat has grown in size and prestige as the new administrative, educational, and cultural centre of Morocco.
It is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and the Bou Regreg River, which separates it from its rival sister city to the north. Rabat has approximately 1,5 million inhabitants and thousands of tourists from all over the world every year.
The Segafredo Zanetti Espresso café is located inside the newly renovated Rabat Ville Train Station, built by the national railway company ONCF. Within the next two years the main cities in Morocco will be connected by the TGV train.
The outlet has a size of 86 sqm inside and an external 36 sqm terrace. It has a great visibility, being connected almost to all station’s platforms.
The whole management of ONCF was enthusiastic about Segafredo Zanetti Espresso format and planned to open more cafés inside their upcoming new stations.
