Segafredo Zanetti Espresso opened a new café in Athens, capital of Greece, one of the world's oldest cities.
Classical Athens was a centre for the arts, learning and philosophy, home of Plato's Academy and Aristotle's Lyceum.
Athens was also the birthplace of Socrates, Pericles, Sophocles and its many other prominent philosophers, writers and politicians of the ancient world. It is widely referred to as the cradle of Western civilization and the birthplace of democracy.
The new Segafredo Espresso Bar is located in Bournazi Square, a well known Restaurant and Bar Area in Athens.
It has unique design and is one of the biggest in Europe, with over 500 square meter and more than 250 seats.
It is very functional thank to two terraces which glasses and roof can be opened or closed according to the season and to the outside temperature, giving this Segafredo Espresso Bar a cool Mediterranean style.
Customers can enjoy a perfect Italian Espresso, prepared by one of the best Baristas in Athens, in a great atmosphere, with chill out music.
Recently George Seitanidis, our franchisee, and his partner Dimitris Kozakis has organized a perfect Grand opening with over 300 people, local radio station and television.
They invited some look-alike of famous actors or singers, as Christina Aguilera, and a well known DJ which generated a fantastic night and a perfect opening for our Segafredo Espresso bars.
